Berlin- City break

Sad to say I’m finally back in England but had the most amazing weekend ever! The 4am wake up on a Saturday was definitely worth it! We arrived in Berlin at around 1oam and was greeted by the most beautiful sunny weather ( Just shy of 20 degrees and that is something you can’t complain about) Around an hour later we arrived at our AirBnB, it’s a little weird staying in someone’s apartment but it was just perfect for what needed being only 3 tube stops away from Alexandra platz. If you haven’t heard or tried it out I would recommend it! Far cheaper than a hotel!

Alexanda Platz was obviously our first stop followed by a the Berlin Cathedral. If there’s one thing I recommend doing it’s going inside the Cathedral. It was honestly so amazing and took my breath away .

Too be honest though I found everything amazing, literally it’s hard to believe what your seeing. There’s so much history. If you are into the History of Berlin definitely visit the Berlin Wall, Check point Charlie museum and national history museum.

By far my favourite part of the trip was sitting with a coffe watching the sunset over the Brandenburg gate. You definitely have to visit this during sunset and in the evening, it’s actually incredile. It’s suituated in a really nice area and just a 5 minute walk from the Reichstag (which is free to go in) and has its own U-bahn stop. The transport in Berlin is also very good there’s tube, trains and trams although it can be little confusing attimes.

I could really speak for hours about this amazing trip and definitely recommend going. It’s impossible not to fall in love with this city and has made me want to go on another weekend away.(Recommendations) I can’t thank my amazing boyfriend anymore.

Check out my Insta for some more pics.

Until next time
